Job Description

A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to provide high-level support to litigation attorneys in a fast-paced, high-volume practice. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, tech-savvy, and excels in a collaborative environment.

Top 3 Requirements

  1. 5+ years of litigation experience
  2. Strong calendaring and e-filing at the state and federal level
  3. High technical proficiency

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare letters, memos, and legal documentation
  • Conduct conflict checks and prepare engagement letters for new matters
  • Prepare and file pleadings with the appropriate court systems - state and federal
  • Enter and manage dates in the firm's central docketing/calendaring system
  • Arrange attorney travel and prepare related expense reports
  • Answer phones and handle communications for assigned attorneys
  • Enter attorney time and assist with billing tasks

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of litigation administrative support experience
  • Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced legal environment preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Proficiency with Office 365 and Adobe; experience with iManage preferred

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $55,000-$70,000 (commensurate with experience, internal equity, and market data)
